Picture of Epsom Bloom go to This fantastic colt is a rare find. Although very popular in Europe, his sire Clinton has very few foals born in America this year. Out of our best imported mare Wagrusa H, Epsom Bloom has a top jumper bloodline and displays the presence and conformation to become a top stallion prospect. Epsom is a sweetheart. Long line, elegant, tall and leggy he has a very good conformation; correct leg, nice long neck, good top line he is very athletic, strong with a powerful canter, he stop on a dime and spin around as fast. Very easy to handle, the farrier was impressed when at one month he let him trimmed his feet easily. Epsom has the ingredient required as a baby to become a top level jumper. We are very proud of this match. In the 2009 Keuring tour Epsom was listed in the very prestigious TOP FIVE of KWPN-NA jumper foal. Wagrusa was bred to Hickstead for a 2010 foal but we will have to go back in 2011 to this cross as this colt is exactly what we were hoping for. See VIDEO 3 months

Clinton is a first class stallion having participated to the 2004 Olympic Game in Athen where he became 3rd in the individual ranking with Dirk Demeersman and second in the prestigious Grand Prix of Aachen in 2005.
Clinton's offspring start to jump really well internationally, like Via Vola ridden by Tina Lund, Cornet Oblensky ridden by Marco Kutscher and Special with Philippe Roger.
Clinton combines a superior conformation, excellent movements and some superb jumping ability. His sire Corrado won several Worldcup Qualifiers with Franke Sloothaak and was the stallion that won the most prizemoney as an approved stallion. Corrado has around ten approved stallions such as Coriano, Corofino, Calmaro, Contago, Corraldo. Clinton's dam Urte performed at national level with her owner but Clinton's granddam is more famous. She jumped suc-cessfully at international level and won around DM 50.000, with Karsten Huck and Dirk Schröder under her sports name of Olympia.
Grandsire Masetto has the famous bloodlines of Moltke and Cottage Son and is known as a producer of dressage horses. Clinton had a very good Performance Test in Oud Heverlee, where he showed a lot of quality as a showjumper.
Clinton participated successfully in the Classic Cycle for four and five year olds. Clinton and his rider Dirk Demeersman had a successful year in 2003. They won the Grand Prix of Lummen and were 2nd in the Nations Cup of Aken, 2nd in the national championship of Belgium and 7th in the worldcup qualifier of Verona. From his first crop incredibly 3 sons were approved, Upsilion, Utrillio and President.
NAME: Wagrusa H
BLOODLINE: Silverstone / Le Val Blanc
HEIGHT: 1.68
BORN: 2003
PREDICATE: STAR / PROK
Wagrusa H is a Star Prok KWPN mare purchased from the family Hazenburg in Holland and imported to our farm in 2008. Wagrusa was in foal for the second time to Wittinger, the Champion of his stallion test who is also related to Wagrusa through his dam. Wagrusa first foal from Wittinger was purchased by VDL as a stallion prospect. Wagrusa breeder, family Hazenberg are prominent breeder in Holland who hardly ever have mares available for sale. Their foals are very sought after and a long line of buyers are looking forward to their offspring. Thanks to Kathy from Majestic Gaits and Janko from VDL Stud who helped us facilitate this sale. Wagrusa's Ster and Prok predicates indicate her high quality being above the standard of the breed and successfully passed the same X rays required for stallion’s approval. Wagrusa's famous mare line is impressive and loaded with approved stallions, national and international level jumpers and dressage. Wagrusa siblings include Carusa , Keur Pref, 1989 champion of her Keuring in CK Groningen and dam of Irusa, mother of the 2006 Champion jumping stallion test Wittinger; the international jumper and KWPN-NA approved stallion GRAND STAR , CROWN, (stb name B.Beatle) ; LARUSO Licensed Stallion in Hungaria and Marusa H Keur, dam of the international jumper Ragrusa H. Varusa is also the grand dam and great grand dam of many Keur and Preferent mares with high results at mare test , Keuring Championship and 2nd round stallion. Her sire Le Val Blanc xx is found in many mare line of international Champion such as Hamlet, sire of Hickstead, Olympic Cocktail and Falco and sire of approved stallions such as Zuidhorn, Valblank, Woldstreek and Zaïre. Zuidhorn was in the the top 20 in World Rankings for both Dressage and Show Jumping Sires and is even closer related to Varusa being as well by Le Val Blanc out of a Sinaeda mare. Le Val Blanc is one of the throroughbred with Pericles, Lucky Boy, Uppercut and Courville who had a tremendous impact on the transformation of the KWPN. It is nice to find this stallion so close. SInaeda, Varusa grand-sire, was an important sire, one of the foundation sires of the modern Dutch sport horse. His bloodlines only exist through his daughters, many of whom such as Varusa's dam, have produced outstanding offspring. They have passed on his enormous jumping ability, soundness and movement. Varusa's dam, the Model preferent prestatie mare Sarusa has produced five International jumpers and a Prix St. George dressage horses; Fernando under the show name of CHARLEY BROWN was 1.30m jumper4th Level dressage and was selected for 3round stallion selections. He was Dutch Champion eventing and European Team Gold Medal; NAPOLEON Ster, International jumper and selected for 3rd round stallion selections; Carla, competed under the show name of CHANTILY and was Dutch Champion 1.20 M level and Dutch reserve-champion 1.30 Z level; Marisca ,Ster under the show name of MELODIE, was an International jumper; UNIEK competed at Prix St-George level and SIBOLT NWPN Approved stallions. Sire Silverstone is the first approved son of Champion du Lys , Derby winner with a top success rate as a producer: World Cup and CSI*** winners. Champion du Lys is regarded as one of the best show jumping sires worldwide. His lifetime winnings amount to almost 2 millions Euros. Ridden by Ludger Beerbaum his career highlights include winning the 2003 “Hamburger Derby” and numerous classes at Grand Prix and Nation Cup level. His offspring follow in his footsteps: Silverstone received the highest points ever for jumping in years during the stallion Test: take-off 9 - technique 8.5 - scope 9.5 and talent for jumping 9. He finished in 1st place for jumping and a 3rd place in the total classification. In the Stallion competition of 2005/2006 Silverstone was reserve Champion and in 2006/2007 won the Stallion Competition winning 3 out of the 4 qualification rounds. For 2007 Silverstone breeding index is 147. Champion du Lys has valuable French sport genes – his grandsire Mexico is full brother to the great stallion Furioso II, who has produced innumerable jumping and dressage horses as well as flourishing stallion lines. The dam of Silverstone, Marthago, is a real Holstein breeding mare. She became ‘Keur’ and received in her EPTM test, three times an 8 and a 9 for jumping. Her sire Carthago Z earned a 9.5 for free jumping and a 10 for jumping talent! Carthago competed in 15 Nations Cups and was a member of the Dutch team at the Sydney Games. He finished in 11th place at the Atlanta Games with Jos Lanskinkd. With an index of 182 he headed the FN young jumping stallion ratings. Sire Capitol’s grand dam Retina was a Hamburg Jumping Derby with Fritz Thiedemann. His dam, Folia, showed great jumping potential and produced the licensed stallions Latus I and II, as well as the two Capitols, and famous daughters Kausa, Lektion (eventing) and U-Capitola (dam of Lord Capitol). Folia’s dam, Vase, was a full sister to Romanus who competed with success with Hans Günter Winkler. The dam sire, Calando I stood at several breeding stations in Holstein before pursuing a performance career that culminated in a German Championship with Karsten Huck. Marthago also produces Chuck Z, a Zangersheide approved stallion. Then we find the Ramiro x Gotthard son, Renomee who sired more international jumping horses. Grand dam Aline is the dam of the stallion Laralle and the International jumping horse Corniola.
