Enzo Bloom is a lovely colt with charming personality and excellent gaits. He is developing into a copy of his sire Padinus. He is well built with a strong top line and powerful hindquarters. He is shedding to a very dark deep brown almost black coat and with his nice blaze he will be stunning.
Enzo has a marvelous pedigree. Sire Padinus died at the early age of 8 in an accident one year after being approved with the KWPN. Since then, his popularity has never ceased to increase as more offspring are getting into the show ring displaying their amazing talent. His own pedigree is a show case of interesting jumping talent with Heartbreaker as a sire and Grannus as his dam’s sire. His sire Heartbreaker has been leading the KWPN jumping index for several years and Padinus is no different. He has been leading the KWPN jumping index for his group of age in 2007 and 2008 and is currently leading the KWPN conformation index all categories with a pretty good reliability of 77%. When the reliability passes 70% it is mostly based on offspring information and the pedigree information and own performance of the stallions no longer contribute much to the height of the breeding value. No wonder his offspring are so popular in Europe and even more now, as there is no more semen available up there.
Enzo dam Jenni Road is a black Star mare imported in Canada from the State in 2005. Jenni is by Grand Slam who stood at Iron Spring Farm in the 90’s. Grand Slam descends from the Grande line same as Padinus mother’s side, where we find so many great performance horses such as For Pleasure, the Grand Prix Winner who was in the top list of the WBFSH for so many years. He retired at the age of 19 from the Grand Prix circuit to focus on his breeding career.
Grand Slam is known for having produced great mares and Jenni is no exception. Jenni is out of a Dutch, Holsteiner and Oldenburg approved Thoroughbred mare Share the Road (Sherry). This gives Enzo the so important TB blood sought after in the third generation. Sherry's sire On the Road was a famous Thoroughbred jumper sire in Pennsylvania. Sherry's dam Sky Traveler comes down from the legendary Hyperion lines. Jenni took 1st place in the New England Dressage Association (NEDA) breed show in 1997 and has produced ‘STAR’ son Lexus by Rolls Royce. Her colt Sundance was 2nd place at the Seacoast breed show and 3rd place at the NEDA breed show. Jenni is also approved by the Holsteiner and Oldenburg.
