Caledonia is built for performance. She has strong hindquarters, correct legs and long shoulders.   At her foal's keuring she was presented as coming from a top top jumper line. The judge commented on her nice top line, strong hindquarter, correct legs and long shoulders and that she had what is required for a jumper. To prove them right, while in training she jumped out of a 6 foot high pen almost from a standstill. She has power and scope!

Caledonia is by the successful Grand Prix jumper, World Cup winner and USA Horse of the Year, Emilion KEUR who stands at the prestigious VDL Stud Farm in Holland.

Emilion is a super producer of jumpers with attitude.  Even as a yearling or two years old no one could phase her out. She was not impressed by the alpha mare, she just pull away few inches to come back until she had what she wanted. In fact she is the most intelligent filly we had so far but  you have to be smarter if you want to be respected. She will analyze you and decide if you are up to her level before you can have fun and bound with her. 

Being a fast learner she catches everything, the good and the bad so you have to be clear and firm.  If you think she will be scared of something, she will… if you think she won’t be scared of anything, she won’t.   So the owner / handler make all the difference.  Caledonia would be the ideal mount for a confident rider who wants to build a solid partnership based on respect and understanding. She loves attention and being treated as the special girl she is. We will see in a few months more of her potential and she will be priced accordingly.

Emilion has produced many Grand Prix and World Cup winners, amongst others Glasgow who with Norman Dello Joio won more Grand Prix and Word Cup competitions than anyone. This year the WBFSH top 300 international jumpers are Emmerton, Ukinda, Empire and Sequoyah Farm Utopia.Emilion is tall, strong and throw foals which has very good attitude.
